Halfway through January 2026, we’ve been eager to see what the most active fighting games have been up to and what plans lie ahead. This week, SNK made a big splash by officially announcing *Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* Season 2, revealing some very exciting details.
The upcoming season will feature six characters: Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and two mystery fighters. These characters will be released month by month, starting with Kim Jae Hoon next week.
SNK shared the details of *Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* Season 2 in a post on the game’s social media channels. The season is set to launch on January 22, 2026, kicking off with Kim Jae Hoon, the brother of Dong Hwan and another kick-heavy Taekwondo specialist.
Following Jae Hoon, players can look forward to Nightmare Geese—a secret boss from the main game—joining the roster as a playable character. After that, Blue Mary will arrive, bringing her rough-and-tumble grappler style to the fight. She is known as both a rival and friend of Terry Bogard.
Rounding out the confirmed lineup is Wolfgang Krauser, the imposing German mountain and boss from *Fatal Fury 2*. Each character will be released monthly until the season concludes.
SNK has also teased a possible Season 3 that is expected to follow a similar monthly release schedule.
While the final two characters for Season 2 remain unconfirmed, there are strong hints about who they might be. SNK previously teased the possibility of Mr. Karate—likely Ryo or Takuma Sakazaki from *Art of Fighting*—and, more surprisingly, Kenshiro from *Fist of the North Star*. These two seem poised to complete the Season 2 roster.
