Cherry Hill East continued its perfect season with an impressive 86-40 victory over Rancocas Valley in Cherry Hill.
Chris Abreu led the Cougars (15-0) with a standout performance, scoring 28 points while also contributing 13 rebounds, eight assists, and six steals. Chris Delgado added 22 points, including four 3-pointers, helping to fuel the offensive surge.
The Cougars pulled away decisively in the third quarter, outscoring Rancocas Valley (10-7) by a dominant 35-8 margin to put the game out of reach. Despite a competitive first half that saw Rancocas Valley trail 40-26 at the break, the visitors struggled to generate offense in the second half, managing just 14 points.
Cherry Hill East controlled the glass throughout the game, holding a 40-19 rebounding advantage. The team also showcased excellent ball movement, recording 23 assists on its baskets.
For Rancocas Valley, Griffin Fair led the Red Devils with 13 points, while Andre Byrdsong contributed seven. However, the visitors were unable to keep pace with the high-powered Cougars.
