Robert Pattinson on if He’ll Do Another Twilight Movie

Robert Pattinson Recently Hints at Returning as Edward Cullen in Twilight Franchise

Robert Pattinson, who rose to global fame for his portrayal of Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, has expressed interest in reprising the iconic role. The actor, who starred as the 17-year-old vampire across five films released between 2008 and 2012, recently hinted that he would be open to playing Edward Cullen again if the opportunity arose.

While promoting his latest film, *Die My Love*, in which he stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Pattinson participated in Vanity Fair’s lie detector segment. During the lighthearted exchange, Lawrence asked him, “If they were gonna direct a new Twilight, would you do it?”

Without hesitation, Pattinson responded, “Oh yeah, for sure.” Lawrence appeared surprised by the answer and jokingly said, “I don’t think you should, but okay.” The actor laughed and added, “It’d be great. I like taking jobs of younger actors. I wanna play 17 again.”

The polygraph examiner confirmed Pattinson’s comment was truthful, sparking excitement among Twilight fans. Social media quickly buzzed with speculation about a potential new Twilight installment or a reboot of the beloved franchise.

Based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels, Twilight became a massive global hit and cultivated a passionate fan base. However, as of now, no official announcements have been made regarding a new Twilight project.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson continues to maintain a busy schedule. In 2026, he is slated to appear in three major films: *The Drama* in April, *The Odyssey* in July, and *Dune 3* in December. Additionally, he will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in *The Batman Part II*, set for release in 2027.

Fans eager to see Pattinson back as Edward Cullen will have to stay tuned for any updates, but the actor’s recent comments have certainly rekindled hope for a Twilight comeback.
