The New York Police Department released still images from surveillance camera footage showing the alleged gunman in the shooting of Jets cornerback Kris Boyd. The shooting took place at around 2 a. m. ET on Sunday in Midtown Manhattan. Boyd was struck and critically hurt. He remains in hospital. NYPD Crimestoppers said the unidentified individual they are seeking “discharged a firearm, striking a 29-year-old male victim in the abdomenThe unidentified individual fled the location on foot traveling eastbound on West 38 Street to parts unknown,” said the release from NYPD Crimestoppers. “The sought individual is described as male, medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants, multi-colored sneakers, and carrying a black bookbag.” This is a developing article. Updates to follow.
