On Monday, November 24th, 2025, Dance Yourself Fit™ (DYF) officially announced the premiere of its highly anticipated documentary, “The Dance Yourself Fit™ Effect.” The event will take place at the Odeon Cinema in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland, and will showcase the powerful impact of dance, community, and wellbeing on individuals’ lives. The film, produced by Dance Yourself Fit™ in partnership with Giant Studios, features personal stories, experiences, and emotional journeys that define the DYF movement. It offers viewers an intimate look at the transformations sparked by the power of dance and the supportive community behind it. Founder of Dance Yourself Fit™, Niall Newman, believes that the film will not only inspire and motivate others to embrace the benefits of dance but also showcase the real-life change it can bring. He stated, “Dance can be fun, transformative, and completely life-changing in so many ways, so instead of telling people what it can do, we wanted to show it through real stories, real community, and real moments.” The documentary also features the voices of community members and teachers, highlighting the physical, mental, and emotional changes they have experienced through the DYF programme. It explores themes such as well-being, resilience, discipline, identity, and the collective power of community. Executive producer of the documentary and founder of Dance Yourself Fit™, Niall Newman, brings nearly 30 years of high-performance coaching experience to the project. His creative vision and deep understanding of transformation play a central role in the storytelling and purpose behind the film. The documentary is directed and produced by Kamal Ibrahim from Giant Studios, who has over a decade of experience in the film and television industry. His past productions include notable films such as “South” and “Release,” as well as the documentary “Breaking Ice.” Kamal describes the story of DYF as one of “passion, determination, and transformation” and a testament to the power of love and family within the community. The film’s post-production was led by Grace Cotter and Fiona Graham from Spot On Productions, a leading post-production house based in Ireland. With their expertise in storytelling and visual imagery, they have brought the authentic voices of DYF members and teachers to life on screen. The premiere will be an invite-only event, welcoming community members, teachers, and contributors. After the screening, guests will gather for an exclusive afterparty to celebrate the documentary and the people who helped bring it to life.
