MANILA, Philippines — Maddie Madayag and Thang Ponce stepped up to hold the fort for the all-Filipino Choco Mucho team, which continues to miss the services of American import Marlee Smith in the PVL Reinforced Conference.
Madayag proved to be a formidable two-way force, contributing 18 points that included clutch hits and a game-winning ace. She also added six blocks to her impressive performance.
Their combined efforts helped the Flying Titans secure a crucial victory in the conference.
