MANILA, Philippines – Maverick Ahanmisi has requested a trade from Barangay Ginebra after three seasons with the team, citing his desire for more playing time.
Ahanmisi revealed his intentions in a YouTube vlog posted on Thursday. In the video, he even shared an online conversation with a certain “Boss,” who is likely San Miguel Corporation sports director Alfrancis Chua.
The person on the other end of the conversation responded to Ahanmisi’s request as the player expressed his wish for a new opportunity to showcase his skills.
