**Indore to Host Namo Marathon Under Seva Pakhwada Theme: “Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat”**
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): As part of the Seva Pakhwada (Service Fortnight) celebrations, a Namo Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday. Themed “Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat,” the marathon aims to promote self-reliance and development across the nation.
Several programmes are being organized across the district under the guidance of District Collector Shivam Verma, with the Namo Marathon being a key event. The run will commence at 6:30 am, starting from Rajiv Gandhi Square and concluding at Bhanwarkuan Square.
A large number of youth, athletes, and members of the general public are expected to participate in the event, showcasing community spirit and enthusiasm.
Preparations Reviewed in Meeting
A meeting to discuss marathon arrangements was held on Friday, presided over by Collector Shivam Verma. Siddharth Jain, CEO of the District Panchayat, along with officials from various relevant departments, were present to ensure smooth coordination.
During the meeting, Verma reviewed the preparation status and directed officials to ensure the marathon’s effective organization.
Open to All Age Groups with Attractive Prizes
The marathon race is open to participants of all age groups, encouraging widespread involvement. Winners will receive cash prizes and certificates as recognition of their efforts.
– **1st Prize:** Rs 5,000
– **2nd Prize:** Rs 3,000
– **3rd Prize:** Rs 2,000
Additionally, seven runners will receive a consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each.
