SOTT FOCUS: NewsReal: Trump Peace Plan Shows Ukraine War’s Still a Racket

Trump’s 28-point peace plan for Ukraine was announced last week. The Euros say it’s “capitulation to Russia,” Kiev says it’s under pressure from the White House to accept it, “or else,” and the Russians say they’ll “consider it.” Though more realistic than anything proffered by Western leaders thus far, it will likely fail because entrenched money interests want to keep the war going. Back in the US, Congressman Thomas Massie’s Epstein Files Transparency Act has been passed surprisingly quickly. So, a ‘win’ for MAGA, despite Trump’s months-long efforts to kill the bill. And yet, unexpectedly, Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her sudden retirement from national politics, stating, “our government is broken beyond repair.” A bad omen for ‘Epstein transparency’ and thus the remainder of Trump’s term. HE’S OUT: Aaron Rodgers Won’t Play vs. Bears on Sunday

Aaron Rodgers will spend what might be his last visit to Soldier Field on the sideline holding a clipboard. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears: NEWS: Aaron Rodgers will miss the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday due to a left wrist fracture suffered last week. Mason Rudolph will get the start. www.nytimes.com/athletic/683…[image or embed]— The Athletic (@theathletic.com) November 23, 2025 at 10:01 AM Aaron Rodgers is OUT for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears On the one hand, I’m bummed that the Bears won’t see Aaron Rodgers on Sunday. I wanted this team to give him a rude welcome upon his return to Soldier Field for what might be the last time. It would have been a joy watching Montez Sweat, Gervon Dexter Sr., Grady Jarrett, Anthony Booker, Andrew Billings, and others chase Rodgers around the field. I would have enjoyed watching him throw interceptions into the hands of Kevin Byard III and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. Seeing him walk off Soldier Field as a loser was on my 2025 Christmas list. Oh, well. WEEK 12 BEARS-STEELERS STORYLINES In place of Aaron Rodgers, the Bears will see Mason Rudolph start for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rudolph, a third-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2018, has 32 appearances under his belt and has made 18 starts. The Oklahoma State product is 9-8-1 in those starts, so I can’t take him all too lightly this week. With that being said, facing a backup quarterback in your place makes this a must-win game. There are no excuses.
