• Glenville put on a dominant display on defense en route to a 45-7 win over Shelby in the Division IV state championship game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton on Dec. 5. The Tarblooders (12-3) held Shelby to just 11 yards of total offense on 24 plays. Quarterback Brayden DeVito was one of three finalists for the Mr. Football award, but he struggled throughout as he was just 3 of 18 passing for 38 yards and an interception.
