Karisma Kapoor’s kids file new petition in Sunjay Kapur will dispute; court seeks Priya Sachdev’s response

Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court questioning the authenticity of the will left behind by their late father, businessman Sunjay Kapur. The development marks the latest turn in the ongoing dispute between the siblings and their stepmother, Priya Sachdev Kapur. What the fresh plea says In their new application, Samaira and Kiaan have asked for permission to inspect the original copy of Sunjay Kapur’s alleged will. The document was earlier submitted to the court in a sealed cover by Shradha Suri Marwah, who has been named as the executor. According to the siblings, the will presented by Priya is “forged and fabricated” and does not reflect their father’s true intentions. They argue that the certified copy they were given is not enough to verify the signature or other key details, making direct inspection necessary. What happened in court During the hearing on November 17, Joint Registrar (Judicial) Gagandeep Jindal issued notices to Priya Sachdev Kapur and Shradha Suri Marwah, asking them to respond within three weeks. The matter is scheduled to be heard again on December 16. Priya’s legal team has dismissed the allegations, saying the objections raised by the children are “bogus and baseless.” They earlier argued that spelling mistakes in the document do not make a will fake, and that the signature had not been formally disputed until now. The new plea, however, specifically raises doubts regarding the signature. Parallel case on asset protection Alongside the will-related plea, Samaira and Kiaan have also filed a separate interim application. They have requested the court to prevent Priya from transferring or altering any assets belonging to their father while the legal proceedings continue. The hearing for this interim request will resume on November 20. Sunjay Kapur, a well-known businessman and polo enthusiast, passed away in London in June while playing a match. He was married to Karisma Kapoor from 2003 to 2016, and the two share Samaira and Kiaan. He married Priya Sachdev in 2017, and they have a son together. Bitcoin ETFs bleed $2.6B – Why Arthur Hayes says ‘investors don’t like BTC’

The post Bitcoin ETFs bleed $2. 6B Why Arthur Hayes says ‘investors don’t like BTC’ appeared com. Key Takeaways Why is BlackRock leading ETF outflows? Per Hayes, hedge funds are liquidating their BTC positions as the basis trade declines. What’s the pivot he sees for the market? According to him, an improvement in the liquidity conditions in early December could juice risk assets and drive BTC to $200k. Bitcoin’s [BTC] institutional flows have remained negative for the fourth week in a row, further accelerating the ongoing sell-off. So far in November, $2. 59 billion has left the U. S. spot BTC ETFs, with half of the outflows ($1. 26 billion) driven by BlackRock’s IBIT investors. It involves buying spot BTC ETFs and shorting on the asset on CME to capture the spread (basis trade). However, now that the basis trade is no longer attractive, they have hedge funds with spot BTC ETFs that have exited their positions, noted Hayes. And with it, the hedge fund-led ETF outflows intensified, further spooking retail investors, added Hayes. “Now retail believes these same investors don’t like Bitcoin and creates a negative feedback loop that influences them to sell, which decreases the basis, finally causing more institutional investors to sell the ETF.” Treasury demand and liquidity shifts Additionally, the demand from BTC treasuries has also faded, further reinforcing the short-term concern that major players are taking a wait-and-see approach. Hayes highlighted that the dollar liquidity has also been withdrawn and could be re-injected by December when the Fed ends Quantitative Tightening (QT).
