Dasha Nekrasova, the Succession actress also known for A24’s *Materialist*, has been fired by Gersh following the resurfacing of a lengthy podcast interview with far-right personality Nick Fuentes. A representative confirmed the agency’s decision to *Deadline*, marking a swift industry response to the brewing controversy.
The fallout extended to *Iconoclast*, the upcoming thriller directed by *The Night Agent* star Gabriel Basso. Nekrasova had recently been announced as part of the cast, but sources tell *Deadline* her contract was pulled before signing due to the same podcast backlash.
Though the Fuentes interview—which has since been deleted—was posted to YouTube a month ago, it only started circulating widely in Hollywood this week, prompting rapid calls to distance from the actress. Nekrasova has not yet released a statement.
The interview appeared on *Red Scare*, the cultural commentary show she co-hosts with Anna Khachiyan. The two-and-a-half-hour episode, titled “Fuentanyl OD Nick Fuentes x Red Scare (Dasha Nekrasova and Anna Khachiyan),” plays largely as audio due to what Nekrasova labeled “technical problems,” and reached over 220,000 views before being deleted.
Throughout the conversation, the trio discusses “international jewery” and leans into offensive stereotypes about Jewish people, Italians, Asians, and others. The episode also includes eyebrow-raising remarks about the Holocaust and immigrants from developing countries, particularly non-white ones.
Nick Fuentes, widely viewed as the leader of the “Groypers” and a major figure in far-right online culture, is known for pushing an “America First” ideology well outside mainstream conservatism. His notoriety has intensified compared to Charlie Kirk, the Trump-aligned media personality who was tragically assassinated on September 10 during a Utah debate event. Kirk himself was frequently criticized for his stances on immigration, race, January 6, and COVID-19.
As CNN reports, Fuentes is a “well-known White nationalist and Holocaust denier.” Publicly, he identifies as a Christian nationalist and promotes anti-LGBTQ, anti-feminist, and misogynist positions, regularly attacking Kirk’s Turning Point USA for being insufficiently extreme.
