Ben Griffin Rallies to Claim World Wide Technology Championship 2025
On Sunday, November 9, Ben Griffin mounted an impressive comeback to win the World Wide Technology Championship 2025. He fired a remarkable 9-under 63 in the final round, finishing at an aggregate score of 29-under par. This performance earned him a two-shot victory over Chad Ramey and Sami Valimaki.
Griffin started the final round two strokes behind the leader. He quickly made his presence felt with back-to-back birdies to open the round, followed by another birdie on the 4th hole. The only blemish on his card was a bogey on the fifth hole, but he recovered swiftly, adding seven more birdies throughout the round to secure the top spot at Los Cabos.
Meanwhile, Garrick Higgo, who held the 54-hole lead, remained competitive through the first 10 holes. However, a double bogey on the 12th hole significantly hurt his chances. Although Higgo managed two birdies in the final six holes, it was not enough to keep pace with Griffin.
This victory marks Ben Griffin’s third win on the PGA Tour, as well as his third win in the 2025 season. With this triumph, Griffin joins the ranks of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler as players who have won more than twice this season.
