Wonder Man Episode Runtimes are Shorter Than Most MCU Shows

Marvel Television’s *Wonder Man* is set to debut on Disney+ on January 27, 2026. A new report has revealed the runtimes for each episode of the upcoming series, offering fans an early glimpse into what to expect from the show’s pacing.

According to a report from X user “Legado da Marvel,” all eight episodes of *Wonder Man* will have fairly consistent runtimes, with most episodes running between 30 to 34 minutes. However, there is one exception: the fifth episode is reported to be notably shorter, clocking in at just 23 minutes.

If these runtimes prove accurate, *Wonder Man* would have some of the shortest episode lengths seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on Disney+. Typically, MCU shows on the platform have episodes ranging from 40 to 50 minutes. That said, there have been exceptions in the past, such as *She-Hulk: Attorney at Law*, which also featured shorter episodes.

*Wonder Man* is described as a “love letter to filmmaking, acting, and Hollywood itself.” The series follows Hollywood actor Simon Williams, who is suddenly thrust into the superhero world, gains powers, and becomes the superhero Wonder Man.

The show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the titular role, with Ben Kingsley reprising his MCU role as Trevor Slattery. The series is executive-produced and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for *Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings* and *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. Cretton also co-created the show alongside showrunner Andrew Guest (*Brooklyn Nine-Nine*, *Community*).

The ensemble cast includes Demetrius Grosse as Eric Williams, Byron Bowers, Lauren Glazier, as well as returning MCU stars Ben Kingsley and Arian Moayed, who portrays P. Cleary.

With its fresh take on MCU storytelling and its focus on Hollywood culture, *Wonder Man* promises to be an intriguing addition to the Marvel Universe when it premieres next year.
