The company outperformed expectations on its bottom-line metrics, exceeding revenue forecasts and posting a smaller earnings-per-share (EPS) loss than anticipated.
Revenue reached $56 billion, surpassing Wall Street’s estimate of $51.5 billion. The EPS loss came in at $0.65 per share, better than the $0.72 loss expected by analysts and the $0.79 loss projected by Whisper Number.
This strong performance was driven by an increased buy rate from customers aiming to take advantage of the EV tax credit before it expired. As a result, Q3 automotive sales rose significantly to $1.14 billion, compared to $0.77 billion in Q3 2024.
The company has explicitly stated its belief that Q3 2025 will be its highest vehicle delivery period of the year.
