Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has released its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report, showcasing growth across multiple sectors—including YouTube.
YouTube has once again surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue, bringing in $10.261 billion for the most recent quarter. This marks a notable increase from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and $8.9 billion at the same point in 2024.
“Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business,” said Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai in the Q3 2025 earnings report.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the surge in ad revenue is largely due to YouTube continuing to lead the sharing of TV revenue in the U.S., outperforming other streaming services. YouTube has maintained its top position in this category for several months, expanding its lead over competitors like Disney and Netflix.
This quarter marks the second time in 2025 that YouTube has exceeded the $10 billion mark in ad revenue, following the $10.473 billion reported in Q4 2024.
