MANILA, Philippines – The government successfully borrowed its targeted amount of short-term peso debts during Monday’s sale of Treasury bills (T-bills).
Auction results revealed that the Bureau of the Treasury raised a total of P22 billion through the offering. This strong performance was supported by robust demand from investors.
Notably, rates fell amid dovish signals from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, encouraging borrowing and investment during the auction.
