The romantic comedy *De De Pyaar De* (2019) was a moderate box office success, thanks to its quirky plot, comedic elements, and impressive performances. The film starred Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu. Following its positive reception, a sequel is now in the works and nearing completion, with a scheduled release date of November 14, 2025.
**Teaser Release to Boost Excitement**
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of *De De Pyaar De 2* plan to release the film’s teaser on October 12. A source revealed, “The makers are excited about the film and the teaser will provide a small glimpse into the film’s theme, madness, and principal characters. It’s sure to enhance the buzz for the romantic comedy.”
The movie is produced by Luv Films and T-Series.
**Exciting New Additions and Storyline**
Directed by Anshul Sharma, the sequel introduces R. Madhavan as Rakul Preet Singh’s character’s father. The film’s plot centers around a hilarious rivalry between Ajay Devgn (56) and Madhavan (55), revolving around Singh’s (34) character dating a man older than her own father.
Recently, a promotional song for *De De Pyaar De 2* was filmed at a restobar in Mumbai, adding to the growing anticipation. It is worth noting that the first film was directed by Akiv Ali.
With its blend of comedy and romance, *De De Pyaar De 2* promises to entertain audiences once again when it hits theaters this November.
