**Indore Traffic Police Resolve Complaints, Take Strict Action Against Violators**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a bid to improve the city’s traffic situation, the Indore Traffic Police recently resolved 19 complaints received through their dedicated helpline number and took strict action against traffic rule violators.

Under the instruction of Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Singh and the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Kaladagi, a WhatsApp helpline number (7049107620) was introduced to enable citizens to register traffic-related complaints easily.

On September 27, the traffic police received a total of 23 complaints via this helpline. Out of these, 19 were promptly addressed, while action on the remaining four is currently underway.

The complaints covered a wide range of issues including traffic jams, violation of red lights, over speeding—particularly by auto-rickshaws which were also found attempting to hide their number plates using lemon and chili charms—vehicle checking, unauthorized movement of heavy vehicles, non-compliance with one-way traffic rules, illegal parking, and requests to convert the Siyaganj bridge into a one-way thoroughfare.

Officials stated that immediate action was taken in most cases, with challans issued to those found flouting traffic regulations. Citizens have been urged to cooperate with the police for better traffic management and to report any violations via the helpline number.

**Strict Action Against Heavy Vehicles in No-Entry Zones**

In a separate enforcement drive, the traffic police cracked down on heavy vehicles violating the no-entry rule. Despite repeated warnings, several drivers continued to use restricted routes during prohibited hours.

Between the morning of September 27 and the morning of September 28, police took action against 37 heavy vehicles for driving in no-entry zones. Fines were collected, and drivers were issued strict warnings that any further violations would result in tougher penalties.

Authorities advised drivers to adhere to administration guidelines, operating vehicles only during designated times and on permitted routes.

The Indore Police have once again appealed to citizens to support their efforts in maintaining smooth traffic flow and to report any issues through the helpline number. Your cooperation is vital for safer and more efficient roads in Indore.
