CHICAGO (WLS) — A teenager was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Chicago police are currently searching for the driver responsible.
The crash occurred around 7:41 a.m. in the 3800 block of West 68th Street near Marquette Park, according to police reports. The victim, a teenager, was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene and is now in critical condition.
Authorities have identified the suspect vehicle as a black 2018 GMC Arcadia sport utility vehicle with Illinois license plate “AV51401.”
