**Jaxson Rodriguez Named November Junior Student of the Month by Salisbury Elks Lodge 699**
SALISBURY – Jaxson Rodriguez, a 7-year-old second grader at Isenberg Elementary School, has been honored as the November Junior Student of the Month for the 2025-2026 school year by the Salisbury Elks Lodge 699.
Rodriguez was selected by his teacher, Mrs. Ginger Jenkins, in recognition of his respectful nature in the classroom. According to a release from the Elks Lodge, Jaxson’s willingness to assist his classmates and teacher consistently goes “above and beyond.”
In a ceremony, Rodriguez was presented with a certificate of achievement by Tony Alfano, a member of the Salisbury Elks Lodge.
The Elks Junior Student of the Month Program aims to highlight outstanding youth and counterbalance the tendency to focus on negative behavior rather than the positive achievements of young people. The program’s goal is to publicly recognize children whose accomplishments deserve praise and encouragement.
“The underlying purpose of the program is to seek out youth whose accomplishments deserve public recognition,” said Tony Alfano. “It is a great honor to be a part of something that helps our children grow to be strong and confident.”
