Travon Walker ejected for throwing a punch

Officials have ejected Jaguars defensive lineman Travon Walker for unnecessary roughness after a violent altercation on the field.

Walker threw a forceful punch that landed in the facemask of Stone Forsythe, who was also penalized during the same play. Although the fouls offset, Walker was the only player ejected by the officials.

The incident occurred following Daniel Carlson’s 24-yard field goal, which gave the Raiders a 9-6 lead with 6:26 remaining in the third quarter.

Notably, Walker had undergone a surgical procedure on his wrist just a month ago. Additionally, earlier in the 2024 season, Walker was penalized—but not ejected—for throwing a punch in a game against the Vikings. The NFL subsequently fined him $11,817 for that act of unnecessary roughness.
