The letter quickly put the couple on a creepy scavenger hunt, allowing them to discover things they had no idea existed in the newly purchased historic home, like a hidden liquor cabinet behind a mirrored panel above the front parlor’s fireplace or a secret spot in the bathroom that resembled a cramped attic space. And this young couple isn’t alone. Another homeowner’s recent discovery under the floor of their 250-year-old home sent chills down their spine. After noticing that one of her floorboards had nothing holding it in place, she peeked underneath to discover an ornate book filled with pictures of empty rooms in the home. Talk about an unsettling feeling. Another disturbing discovery for a couple was a spooky underground shelter outside in the yard of their newly purchased house. “The house was in great shape.
