**Major Traffic Delays Expected in Miami Beach Wednesday Morning Due to Police Memorial Procession**
MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) — Drivers heading into and out of Miami Beach on Wednesday morning are urged to prepare for significant delays, as a procession and memorial service for Miami Beach Police Sgt. David Cajuso will temporarily shut down key routes.
The procession is scheduled to leave Vista Memorial Gardens funeral home (14200 NW 57th Ave.) at approximately 8:30 a.m. It will travel to the Miami Beach Police Headquarters before proceeding to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens for a 10 a.m. memorial service.
Throughout the morning, intermittent closures are expected along Pine Tree Drive, Washington Avenue, and Dade Boulevard until about 10:45 a.m.
Following the Miami Beach portion of the procession, the group will depart via the westbound MacArthur Causeway toward Hard Rock Stadium, causing additional delays along the causeway and surrounding areas.
Motorists are strongly advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes where possible to avoid these closures and associated delays.
