FRENSO, Calif. (KFSN) — A pedestrian is in the hospital after colliding with a motorcycle rider in Central Fresno, police say. Officers responded to a traffic collision around 6: 30 p. m. Tuesday on Blackstone near Garland Avenue. When they arrived, officers found the motorcyclist lying on the ground with minor injuries. He complained of pain but did not request to go to the hospital. However, the pedestrian had significant injuries to his right leg. Officers helped the pedestrian, who was then taken to the hospital for his injuries. Investigators say the motorcycle rider was going northbound on Blackstone, approaching Garland, when the pedestrian attempted to cross the street. Officers say the pedestrian did not have the right of way when he was hit by the motorcycle.
