**With A Trace Quest Guide**
*With A Trace* is one of the many quests you will receive from Shani in *Security*. She asks you to investigate a downed machine and uncover who is responsible. This quest takes place entirely on *The Blue Gate* map and consists of four main steps.

### Quest Overview
Your objectives in *With A Trace* are:
1. Reach the Barren Clearing
2. Find signs of who brought down the ARC machines
3. Inspect the Adorned Wreckage
4. Inspect the communications device
Upon completing the quest, you will be rewarded with a **Looting Mk. 2 Augment** and a **Medium Shield**.

### Step 1: Reach the Barren Clearing
The Barren Clearing is located on the northwest side of *The Blue Gate* map. You can find it to the left of Raider’s Refuge. This area is notable for being devoid of trees and filled with giant downed ARC machines.

### Step 2: Find Signs of Who Brought Down the ARC Machines
Once you arrive at the Barren Clearing, head to the southwest side of the area near the main wreck. You need to find a ball resting against one of the machine’s legs. When you approach this spot, a yellow **Investigate** prompt will appear. Interact with the round joint to complete this part of the quest and advance to the next step.

### Step 3: Inspect the Adorned Wreckage
Next, you must locate the Adorned Wreckage, which is situated south of the Barren Clearing on *The Blue Gate* map. This wreckage is large and distinctively covered in cables and dishes, making it easier to identify.

### Step 4: Inspect the Communications Device
At the Adorned Wreckage, look for a computer terminal positioned on the south side. Turn on the yellow computer terminal to complete the final step of *With A Trace*.
