HE’S OUT: Aaron Rodgers Won’t Play vs. Bears on Sunday

Aaron Rodgers will spend what might be his last visit to Soldier Field on the sideline holding a clipboard. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears: NEWS: Aaron Rodgers will miss the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday due to a left wrist fracture suffered last week. Mason Rudolph will get the start. www.nytimes.com/athletic/683…[image or embed]— The Athletic (@theathletic.com) November 23, 2025 at 10:01 AM Aaron Rodgers is OUT for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears On the one hand, I’m bummed that the Bears won’t see Aaron Rodgers on Sunday. I wanted this team to give him a rude welcome upon his return to Soldier Field for what might be the last time. It would have been a joy watching Montez Sweat, Gervon Dexter Sr., Grady Jarrett, Anthony Booker, Andrew Billings, and others chase Rodgers around the field. I would have enjoyed watching him throw interceptions into the hands of Kevin Byard III and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. Seeing him walk off Soldier Field as a loser was on my 2025 Christmas list. Oh, well. WEEK 12 BEARS-STEELERS STORYLINES In place of Aaron Rodgers, the Bears will see Mason Rudolph start for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rudolph, a third-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2018, has 32 appearances under his belt and has made 18 starts. The Oklahoma State product is 9-8-1 in those starts, so I can’t take him all too lightly this week. With that being said, facing a backup quarterback in your place makes this a must-win game. There are no excuses.
