Spread Monstrous Mayhem in Get Colossal Glitch Hammer Games has revealed Get Colossal, a light-hearted arena brawler built around fast matches, chaotic growth, and cities that crumble under every punch. The studio has shared a first-look trailer along with plans for a global Alpha playtest on November 22 and 23, giving players a chance to experience the game’s shifting scale and explosive action. Get Colossal follows a party-style 2v2 format where each match begins with human-sized fighters. Then they will gradually evolve into mechs and, finally, towering titans. This changing scale shapes the entire flow of combat. Small fighters dart around the battlefield and irritate larger threats, mid-sized mechs add weight and impact to every strike, and full-sized titans dominate the field as they stomp the arena with each blow. The game’s emphasis on size is matched by its physics-driven destruction, allowing every structure to crumble as battles unfold like classic kaiju showdowns. The upcoming Alpha will give players a chance to test four characters and one of the game’s city maps. As you knock out opponents, you collect Quantum Cubes that fuel your growth, turning a close match into a chaotic turnaround as you power up and unleash new levels of force. Power-ups scattered around the environment push the unpredictability even further, encouraging quick thinking and experimentation. The game offers multiple ways to create chaos, including four city locations, eight characters, and several modes. Break the Rift sets up 2v2 team battles, and Mayhem throws four players into a free-for-all. There is even a Badass mode, which offers a local single-player challenge against up to seven enemies.
