Shraddha Kapoor owned 2024 with her power-packed performance in *Stree 2*, the highest grosser of Bollywood to date. Recently, she took the spotlight once again at the trailer launch of the 2025 Diwali release *Thamma*. Since *Thamma* belongs to the same universe as *Stree 2*, Shraddha graced the occasion and impressed both fans and critics with her trademark style.
Now, she’s all set to appear in front of the media once again on Saturday, November 8. Media personnel received an invitation earlier today, stating that Shraddha Kapoor will be present to make a special announcement. The only other information provided was that the event is being held by Star Studio18, which sparked curiosity among the media about the nature of this announcement.
Shraddha’s next film, *Eetha*, recently went on floors. The film is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, known for *Chhaava* (2025). It was widely assumed that Star Studio18’s involvement might be linked to *Eetha*.

However, Bollywood Hungama has learned that the event scheduled for November 8 at a multiplex in Mumbai has nothing to do with *Eetha*. A source revealed, “Shraddha Kapoor has dubbed for the Hindi version of Disney’s highly awaited animated film, *Zootopia 2*. This is the announcement that will be made at the event.”
The source further explained, “Shraddha Kapoor has a lovely voice and has probably never dubbed for a Hollywood film before. Moreover, she’s one of the top stars in Bollywood, with a huge fan following among kids and families — the primary target audience for *Zootopia 2*. Therefore, the makers felt she was the perfect choice. Shraddha came on board immediately.”
Shraddha’s association with Disney is not new. She was previously a Disney heroine in *ABCD: Any Body Can Dance 2* (2015), where she had a wonderful experience. As a result, she was thrilled to reunite with Walt Disney Animation Studios this time for *Zootopia 2*.
*Zootopia 2* is the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster *Zootopia*, which tells the story of a rookie police officer rabbit and a con artist fox teaming up to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of predators. The original film was a massive hit, earning over $1 billion globally.
Interestingly, *Zootopia 2* is not the only animated film in Shraddha Kapoor’s pipeline. She is also involved with *Choti Stree*, which belongs to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor has started filming *Eetha*, Laxman Utekar’s biopic on the Tamasha icon Vithabai.
