The Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. to their practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
Hardman most recently spent time on the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad at the start of this season but has not appeared in a game in 2025. The Packers released him on September 23, and he has remained a free agent since. He has also worked out for the Las Vegas Raiders during this period.
Originally, Hardman was a second-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019, where he spent four seasons. During his time in Kansas City, he caught 151 passes and contributed as a punt and kickoff returner.
In 2023, Hardman signed with the New York Jets in free agency but saw limited playing time. He was subsequently traded back to the Chiefs, where he made a memorable impact by catching the game-winning touchdown pass in the Super Bowl at the end of that season. He stayed with Kansas City in 2024 but saw limited action on the field.
In related roster moves, the Bills released wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson and defensive end Kingsley Jonathan from their practice squad. Additionally, defensive end Landon Jackson was placed on injured reserve.
