Battlefield 6 Challenges Updated for Faster Completion
The Battlefield Comms team has announced an update to Battlefield 6 Challenges aimed at making progression faster and less grindy. Shared via their social media channels on November 5, 2025, the update reduces the requirements for some of the more time-consuming tasks, improving the overall player experience.
Community Update Highlights
Players will be pleased to know that several Challenge requirements have been significantly lowered to streamline unlocking rewards. Earlier updates increased XP earned in official matches and reduced XP needed for the first 20 attachment ranks. Building on these improvements, this major overhaul of Challenges and Assignments was guided by gameplay data and community feedback.
The aim is to cut down on the time investment needed, while still maintaining a progression system that rewards skillful and consistent play. Challenges and Assignments are now tuned around defined playtime targets, ensuring goals are achievable within reasonable session lengths.
Balance Between Regular Play and Mastery
Assignments will continue to range from objectives you can complete during regular gameplay to more demanding tasks that reward true mastery—especially those tied to cosmetic items. Some original criteria did not fully reflect this intention, so updates have been made to clarify their difficulty and purpose.
The first wave of changes went live immediately through a server-side update. Any progress you’ve already made will automatically carry over, unlocking Challenges or Assignments you meet under the new criteria as soon as you enter a match.
The development team emphasizes that their plans for Challenges and Assignments are extensive and will span multiple server-side and client-side updates. More changes will be rolled out in the future, but this batch was prioritized for immediate release to benefit players as soon as possible.
Key Changes in This Update
This initial update includes over 90 adjustments across Challenges and Assignments. Here are some examples:
- Class Challenges: Faster completion times across Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon classes.
– Assault 2: Have Squadmates deploy on your Spawn Beacon reduced from 50 deploys to 5.
