WASHINGTON, United States — The US private sector lost jobs in September, data from payroll firm ADP showed Wednesday, despite analysts’ expectations of employment growth and ongoing concerns over the health of the labor market.
Private sector employment declined by 32,000 jobs last month, according to ADP, with the biggest losses seen in sectors such as leisure and hospitality.
