Renee Paquette reacts to former WWE star’s heartwarming announcement

A former WWE star has received an outpouring of love after making a heartfelt announcement, which also drew a reaction from AEW personality Renee Paquette.

The star in question is Steph De Lanter, who competed for WWE between 2021 and 2022, primarily on the NXT brand under the ring name Persia Pirotta. Although Lanter wasn’t able to make a significant impact in the Stamford-based promotion, the 28-year-old—currently signed with TNA—has built a strong reputation as a top talent on the independent wrestling scene.

A few hours ago, Lanter shared a personal update on Instagram. She posted a photo with her new husband and announced that they are married.

“WE’RE MARRIED!!! 🥹🌴👰🏻💍❤️✨ Thank you for the incredible pics @catmags!” she wrote.

The post quickly garnered reactions from numerous pro-wrestling personalities, including AEW backstage interviewer Renee Paquette, who congratulated the couple on their special day.

**Jon Moxley’s Tough “I Quit” Match and Renee Paquette’s Update**

In other wrestling news, following Jon Moxley’s recent defeat, his real-life partner Renee Paquette spoke about the intense match and provided an update on Moxley’s condition during the WrestleDream post-show scrum.

“From the get-go, I knew coming into watching this ‘I Quit’ match was going to be difficult,” Paquette said. “This is coming off of the coffin match, seeing how brutal and hellacious that was, so to imagine what these two guys were going to do to each other tonight was intense. Obviously, I was able to see Jon before I walked in here. He’s in rough shape. He’s bleeding all down his arms from the fish tank that got him bad. But he’s standing. It is what it is. It’s part of my job to accept what happens in that ring.”

Meanwhile, Jon Moxley’s feud with Allin appears to be far from over. The two stars are likely to clash again at Blood and Guts 2025, continuing their heated rivalry.
