Afghanistan batters Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah played crucial roles in the 1st ODI against Bangladesh at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Chasing a target of 222, Afghanistan managed to reach 226/5 in 47.1 overs, securing a memorable victory.
Both Gurbaz and Shah struck impressive fifties before losing their wickets. Their partnership of 78 runs was a key highlight of the innings. Earlier, Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran had added 52 runs for the first wicket, helping Afghanistan build a solid foundation. When Shah joined Gurbaz at the crease, the score stood at 58/2.
