MANILA, Philippines — Electricity transmission rates are set to experience a slight decrease in the October billing period, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) announced.
During a media briefing on Wednesday, Julian Ryan Datingaling, head of NGCP’s revenue management department, revealed that the overall transmission rates for the September 2025 billing period have dipped by 1.23 percent, now standing at P1.3998 per kilowatt.
This adjustment is expected to provide some relief to electricity consumers in the upcoming billing cycle.
