Pope Leo to Visit Turkey and Lebanon in November for First Trip Abroad
Pope Leo XIV had been expected for months to travel to Turkey for his first trip abroad. However, the additional visit to Lebanon was only revealed in discussions in recent weeks.
The trip marks an important milestone for Pope Leo XIV, who held a general audience in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican on September 17, 2025.
