LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Suspected armed carjackers led police on a dangerous chase through surface streets in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.
AIR7 captured footage of the pursuit just before 6 p.m., showing the driver weaving in and out of traffic through South L.A. The chase remained mostly on surface streets in the area.
During the pursuit, the fleeing driver ignored red lights, drove the wrong way, and reached high speeds despite heavy traffic.
