U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to immigration enforcement in the Chicago area have been equipped with body cameras, an official testified on Monday.
The testimony came during a judge’s hearing aimed at gaining more insight into the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration.
This enforcement initiative has led to over 1,000 arrests. However, it has also sparked complaints that agents are increasingly employing combative tactics in their operations.
