**Nawazuddin Siddiqui to Play Physics Professor in Upcoming Heist Thriller ‘Faraar’**
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to take on a new and intriguing role in the upcoming heist film *Faraar*. According to HT City, he will portray a physics professor, marking a significant departure from his previous characters and showcasing his versatility as an actor.
Joining Nawazuddin in this venture is Hollywood actor Ilia Volok, renowned for his performances in blockbuster franchises such as *Mission Impossible*, *G.I. Joe*, and *Indiana Jones*. Volok will step into the shoes of the film’s antagonist, adding a fresh dynamic to the narrative.
Directed by Kushagra Sharma, *Faraar* aims to redefine the portrayal of villains in cinema. Sharma shared insights on the unique casting choice, stating, “Casting Ilia Volok opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui was a creative decision driven by the desire to reintroduce the essence of a powerful, layered villain while breaking away from conventional portrayals. As cinema becomes increasingly global, it is essential to bring together two performers who embody depth, intensity, and authenticity.”
He further added, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brilliance on screen demands an equally compelling counterpart, and Ilia Volok brings that rare combination of gravitas and unpredictability.”
Adding to the film’s high expectations is the involvement of Ivan Lacamara, the Spanish composer famous for his work on *Money Heist*. Lacamara is crafting the background score for *Faraar*, promising a soundscape that elevates the film’s intensity and transforms the viewing experience into something immersive and thrilling.
The cast also includes Nimisha Sajayan, acclaimed for her role in *Dabba Cartel*, who is expected to bring depth to the ensemble.
