Meet Tiffany Tobey: a dynamic sommelier whose journey from Lubbock to French-style wine rooms has shaped one of Dallas’s most refined palates.
A graduate of Texas Tech University with dual bachelor’s degrees in Restaurant, Hotel & Institutional Management and English, Tiffany is currently adding a degree in Viticulture to her impressive résumé. She has also expanded her education through international travel, exploring wine tourism and winery practices around the world.
Tiffany’s professional background is equally impressive. She has served on the board of Les Dames d’Escoffier and held the role of Wine Director at SER Steak + Spirits inside the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, where she curated an award-winning wine program. Additionally, she played a key role in the Dallas openings of several Major Food Group concepts, including Carbone, Vino, and Sadelle’s.
Certified by both the Court of Master Sommeliers and the International Sommelier Guild, Tiffany recently added a Champagne Specialist credential from the Napa Valley Wine Academy to her extensive list of achievements.
Tiffany’s ethos as a sommelier goes far beyond curating a wine list — she emphasizes adaptability, education, and genuine guest connection.
Taking her passion further, she now produces her own wines under the label “Tiffany Tobey.” Blended in the South of France, the line includes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, a Red Blend, and Rosé.
If you’re browsing wine lists in Uptown, Deep Ellum, or beyond and spot a bottle from Tiffany’s Signature Sommelier line, raise a glass in support of this exceptional local talent.
With Tiffany Tobey’s elegant fusion of hospitality, education, and vision, the Signature Sommelier Tiffany Tobey collection isn’t just another label — it’s an invitation. It reflects the work of a sommelier who understands that wine is an experience shared between the table, the guest, and the moment.
