Jonathan Taylor scores 3 TDs as Colts pull away from Titans 38-14

**Colts Dominate Titans 38-14 Behind Jonathan Taylor’s Historic Performance**

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Jonathan Taylor rushed for two touchdowns and caught another in a milestone game, while Daniel Jones threw for two more scores, helping the Indianapolis Colts extend their surprising start with a commanding 38-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Taylor continued his dominance against the Titans, scoring three touchdowns in each of their previous two meetings. With his latest performance, he became the first player in league history to record three touchdowns in three consecutive games against the same team. He finished the game with 12 carries for 153 yards, marking his fourth 100-yard rushing game this season as the league’s rushing leader.

Jones completed 21 of 29 passes for 272 yards with no interceptions, despite being sacked a season-high three times. His efforts helped the Colts (7-1) maintain their lead atop the AFC South with their fourth straight win. Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught eight passes for 95 yards and one touchdown. Notably, the Colts have scored 31 or more points in all four victories this season.

The Titans (1-7) have now dropped three straight games, including the first two under interim head coach Mike McCoy. Tennessee suffered defeats against the Colts by at least 21 points in both matchups and have endured six losses by double-digit margins this season.

Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward was 22 of 38 for 259 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Running back Tyjae Spears contributed with nine carries for 59 yards and one touchdown.

The NFL’s highest-scoring team wasted no time setting the tone. After settling for a field goal on their opening drive, the Colts quickly pushed their lead to 10-0 with an 18-yard touchdown run by Taylor on the following series.

Tennessee responded with Ward’s 1-yard touchdown pass to Gunnar Helm. However, Pittman made two highlight-reel catches on the Colts’ next possession — a fingertip tip-to-himself catch between three defenders, followed by a left-handed grab at the goal line despite an interference penalty. His 21-yard touchdown catch gave Indianapolis a 17-7 lead.

The Colts’ offense kept rolling in the second half. Taylor opened the half with an explosive 80-yard touchdown run on the first offensive play. Indy extended their advantage to 31-7 with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Jones to Josh Downs. Taylor sealed the victory early in the fourth quarter with a 19-yard touchdown reception.
