Epic Games has announced **Sidekicks**, new companions that can accompany players in Fortnite. These customizable creatures will be available across multiple game modes, including Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite, as well as other Epic-developed modes. Players will be able to take their Sidekicks along as they explore the Fortnite world and engage in battles.
Sidekicks are designed to travel alongside the player, reacting to the action without providing any competitive advantage. They will mimic player emotes, adding a fun and interactive element to gameplay. According to Epic Games, most Sidekicks will be customizable when first acquired. However, once players finalize their choices, these customizations become permanent.
Players can earn **Sidekick Points (SP)** through gameplay, which can be spent to unlock new cosmetic options for their companions. This system adds a layer of progression and personalization for players who want to enhance their Sidekick’s appearance.
Several Sidekicks have already been revealed. Among them is **Peels**, a banana puppy that players can earn through the new Battle Pass starting November 1, 2025. In addition, **Bonesy**, **Spike**, and **Lil’ Raptor** will be available for purchase in the Item Shop beginning November 7.
