Foo Fighters Share “Asking For A Friend,” Announce Stadium Tour With Queens Of The Stone Age

In May, Foo Fighters fired their drummer Josh Freese. Shortly after, the band released a cover of Minor Threat and an original song titled “Today’s Song.”

They then hired Ilan Rubin, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails, and performed a series of surprise shows at small venues throughout September.

In October, Foo Fighters joined Bandcamp, releasing a live EP featuring performances from those intimate gigs. All proceeds from the EP are being donated to charity.

Now, the band is sharing a new track called “Asking For A Friend” and announcing a North American stadium tour alongside Queens Of The Stone Age.
