A shocking and disturbing incident has come to light in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun, raising serious concerns about the safety and hygiene of food items sold by street vendors. In a shameful act, a juice vendor was caught reportedly cleaning his private part with a cloth and then using the same cloth in the vessel used for preparing juice.
The incident has alarmed people who generally consider fruit juice a healthy option, highlighting how unhygienic practices during preparation can pose health risks.
According to reports, a woman witnessing the vendor’s inappropriate behavior confronted him and recorded the entire act on her phone. She later made the video viral on social media, prompting swift police action. As a result, the vendor’s cart was confiscated, and the police instructed him not to set up shop at the same location in the future.
In the video, the woman clearly states that she saw the vendor cleaning his private part with the cloth before placing it inside the utensil used for making juice. She even threatened to slap him if he lied about his actions when questioned.
The accused vendor claimed that he was cleaning a boil on the lower part of his stomach and did not intend any harm. However, the woman countered that the vendor should have used a more appropriate place, such as near a drain, rather than contaminating the cloth and juice utensils.
Throughout the confrontation, the vendor is seen folding his hands and pleading with the woman to leave him and end the matter. Nevertheless, she reported the incident to the police, leading to legal action against the vendor.
Additionally, reports indicate that the juice vendor was fined for his disgraceful conduct.
