Coyote-Powered 1975 Ford Bronco

This 1975 Ford Bronco was refurbished in 2015 and underwent further modifications at Heritage Bronco in Tigard, Oregon, after the seller’s purchase in 2023.

The extensive work included installing a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, paired with a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled dual-range transfer case. The interior was upgraded with heated gray bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, Dakota Digital gauges, and a center console housing a JVC digital media receiver connected to a six-channel amplifier and four two-way speakers. An inoperative AM radio remains in its factory location.

This Bronco rides on Ultra Motorsports 15” wheels wrapped in 31×10.50” BFGoodrich Baja Champion KO2 tires, which show a 2021 production date code. Suspension enhancements include a Wild Horses 2” lift kit, a Dana 60 front axle supported by coil springs, and a 9” rear axle with parallel leaf springs. Additional drivetrain components feature Warn manually locking front hubs, power steering, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes. The truck is equipped with limited-slip differentials on both the front and rear axles.

The exterior was refinished in the striking “Bronze Fire” color in 2015. Black bedliner material was applied to the removable hardtop, which includes a black removable hardtop, a James Duff swing-away tire carrier, a receiver hitch, and chrome bumpers. Under current ownership, a body lift kit was installed, the front bumper was raised, doors were adjusted, and seals were replaced. Faux carbon-fiber decals accent the hood and sides, while paint chips on the doors have been noted. The truck also features a folding windshield for added versatility.

Inside, black rubber mats line the footwells and cargo area. The cabin includes a rear bench seat, a dash pad, and door panels trimmed in black. The seller mentions a patched area of carpeting on the transmission tunnel. The Dakota Digital instrument cluster displays a 120-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and a digital odometer reading approximately 870 miles—representing the distance driven under current ownership.

Mechanical details under the hood include a conical air filter and a high-flow intake tube feeding the Coyote V8. Cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator with an electric puller fan, while exhaust gases exit through a MagnaFlow muffler. Power delivery to the rear or all four wheels is controlled by the 6R80 transmission and the dual-range transfer case, which is electronically managed by a Patriot Classic 4×4 controller.

Please note, there is currently a lien on the vehicle. The seller’s lender must be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner. This modified 1975 Ford Bronco is offered with a California title and represents a carefully restored and thoughtfully upgraded example of this classic SUV.
