The Denver Broncos face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8, looking to consolidate their lead atop the AFC West. This lead is at risk, however, as a loss to the Cowboys would see them relinquish first place and become tied with the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers currently hold the tiebreaker, having beaten the Broncos in the pair’s sole head-to-head matchup so far this season.
The Broncos received some positive injury news ahead of Sunday’s game, particularly regarding one of their key backup players. Jonah Elliss has been made active for the game after missing two contests due to a shoulder injury.
“With Broncos OLB Jonah Elliss back after missing two games with shoulder injury,” the Denver Gazette’s Chris Tomasson reports, “rookie OLB Que Robinson is inactive after having played in his first two NFL games while Elliss was out. Plus all the inactive for today’s game vs. Cowboys.”
In addition to Que Robinson, other players listed as inactive on the Broncos’ official team website include running back Jaleel McLaughlin, quarterback Sam Ehlinger, and rookie third-round defensive end Sai’vion Jones.
