**Businessman Commits Suicide After Being Pressured by Friends for Money**

Abhishek Arun Mahajan, a 35-year-old resident of Indiranagar, tragically took his own life by hanging himself after being pressured by his friends to repay money. Following his death, a case has been registered against two suspects at the Indiranagar police station in connection with the suicide.

According to information received, Abhishek had been working at Satpur Industrial Estate a few years ago, where he became friends with Sagar and Akash Gaikwad. Later, Abhishek ventured into an independent business located at Dahava Mail.

However, during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Abhishek’s business suffered significant losses. To support his business, he borrowed a large sum of 22 lakhs from his two friends. Out of this amount, four lakhs remained unpaid, and his friends began pressuring him to recover the outstanding money.

Sayali, Abhishek’s wife, stated in her complaint that her husband was frequently harassed and pressured by his friends over the unpaid debt. This constant distress ultimately led Abhishek to take the extreme step of ending his life.

The Indiranagar police are currently conducting a detailed investigation into the matter to ascertain all circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. Further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
