Mojang Studios gave fans an exciting sneak peek at some of the new features coming to **Mounts of Mayhem**, the next Minecraft game drop, during today’s **Minecraft LIVE 2025** broadcast. These features will be available for both **Minecraft Bedrock Edition** and **Minecraft Java Edition** when they launch in Holiday 2025.
Here’s a breakdown of the new additions fans can look forward to in the Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem update:
### Spear
A brand-new weapon designed for both hand-to-hand and mounted combat. The spear’s damage will scale based on the player’s speed, adding a dynamic element to battles whether on foot or on horseback.
### Nautilus
Introducing a new underwater mount— the Nautilus. Players can tame this unique creature using pufferfish, opening up new possibilities for underwater exploration and travel.
### Zombie Nautilus
Alongside the regular Nautilus, a Zombie Nautilus variant will also be available, adding a spooky twist to underwater mounts.
### Nautilus Armor
Protect your Nautilus with specialized Nautilus Armor, which comes in several material types including copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. This armor can be found in chests scattered throughout the Minecraft world.
### Zombie Horse
Zombie Horses are making a return to Survival Mode. These eerie beasts are ridden by spear-wielding zombies, presenting new challenges and encounters for players.
