The duo added an impressive 127 runs off just 70 balls for the second wicket against India on September 26 in Dubai. Their remarkable performance came during a challenging chase of 203 runs.

The 127-run stand between Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera during the 2025 T20 Asia Cup takes the third spot on this list. Perera joined Nissanka in the middle after Sri Lanka lost opener Kusal Mendis for a golden duck early in the chase.

Nissanka played a blistering innings, scoring 107 runs off just 58 balls, while Perera contributed an aggressive 58 off only 32 deliveries. Despite their heroic efforts to take Sri Lanka close to victory, the game ended in a tie and India eventually prevailed in the Super Over.

Dilshan came in at number three following an early departure of Kusal Perera. Jayawardene dominated the partnership, scoring 89 runs off 51 balls, while Dilshan added 55 runs from 47 balls, appearing a bit rusty. Opening the innings, Jayawardene showcased a brilliant batting exhibition, remaining unbeaten on 98 off 56 balls. Sangakkara supported him well with 68 runs off 49 balls. Together, they guided Sri Lanka to a formidable total of 195/3, leading to a comprehensive 57-run victory.
