Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the luxury carmaker owned by India’s Tata Motors, is gradually restarting its manufacturing operations following a significant cyberattack earlier this month.
JLR operates three factories in the UK that collectively produce around 1,000 vehicles daily. However, the recent cyberattack severely disrupted production, causing an estimated loss of $68 million (50 million pounds) per week. As a result, many of the company’s 33,000 employees have been asked to stay home during the downtime.
